If The Skate Fits...

Foreword: Soon after the United States of America won its independence -- to be free and equal among all nations -- John Adams and Thomas Jefferson paid an official visit to the Court of King George III. The king literally turned his back on them. Adams and Jefferson, having had their knowledge and notions of aristocratic mistreatment reaffirmed, were united in their hatred of the king and all his loyal subjects ever after. They were right then, and they are right now...

I hope this fiction got better...

I stopped reading less than half-way through.

Your point is what? And if it was in there, please just give me the abridged version. If it is more of Cooke deserves this…, Head hits are bad…, etc. just spare me as I have obviously wasted my time, but please let me know in your reply as there is no way you will be unable to answer my question, due to the self-importance you have placed upon your own opinion.

The character you have created, to do your trolling, has made me want to vomit. Thank you for confirming my belief in people when given an anonymous platform from which to write.

Jack Edwards (the maniac Boston play by play guy wrote it).

Goon, it is kind of formatted in a weird and awkward fashion, so I’m cleaning it up for you. If people want to read this long-rambling Boston piece, they can click the link, we don’t need 1,500+ words here verbatim of the whole article.

Jack Edwards also compared beating Montreal in the playoffs to the Minutemen beating the English. (Nevermind that the Minutemen had help and that it was an actual war not a game, that’s not important!)

Really.

So, it is at YOUR discretion as to what I can or cannot post?
I should have known there would be nothing but crybabies over here…

Cheers! From your friendly hockey board troll.

Yep. My blog, my rules. Posting the entirity of a 2,000 word article from an out-of-town announcer with no added commentary or thoughts from you is not interesting and I don’t know what the point is, other than your self-annointed trolling.

Yeah, Goon, those that wanted to read it were still able to do so. Other than the line about arenas filled with soccer moms, it was mostly forgettable, but thanks for sharing.

I think what Jack Edwards meant to say was (read it out loud, not typos):

Soon aftuh the United States of Amerwica won its independence — to be frwee and equal among all nations — John Adams and Thomas Jeffehson paid an official visit to the Cawt of King Jawge III. The king litehrally turned his bahk on dem. Adams and Jeffehson, having had theh knowledge and notions of aristocrahtic mistreatment reaffuhmed, were united in dare hatred of duh king and all his loyal subjects evuh aftuh. Dey were right den, and dey ah right now…

Please resort to name calling elsewhere.

Do you actually think this kind of trolling will bring people to your blog? You have a lot to learn.

I think you scared him off, Ulf, the goon has now deprived us of his company here by closing his account. Memorial service to be held at sundown.

To tell you the truth Hooks,

I skipped reading the better part of the article. After the “trolling” he did the day before this post (just picking arguments), I saw this, looked at his sig line on SBN and just kinda jotted the above down and stayed a little pissed about it. I hope I wasn’t out of line, becasue upon rereading when I posted the above, it sounds pretty crappy. And after my run-in with some caps fans a few months back, I don’t want to get the reputation as the guy who argues about everything with anyone new (if I haven’t already).

I hope I wasn’t out of line

In this case, I think I see it quite opposite.
