Well yeah, there isn’t a crackdown on the ice. There isn’t really anything going on, except they are giving 2 game suspensions out afterward, which they did here.

Gah it is frustrating listening to announcers and analysts go on and on about this.

Pretty stupid hit by Armstrong, but I don’t know if it’s a hit or a punch. And even then, I don’t know if it’s a punch of a feigned hit because he realized at the last second that it could be a headshot. This is the sort of thing I thought would happen – whereby I assumed players would start avoiding hits, but I never could’ve predicted it would look like a clothesline/haymaker.
