TK didn't skate, Leclaire to start for Ottawa
According to the Penguins' official site, Feds is the likely replacement for Kennedy.
As for Leclaire, well, it sounds like a desperation effort. But that's what you come to expect when down in a 3-1 hole.

It’s amazing how many teams are switching goalies during the playoffs — the Caps switched from Theo to Varly, the Habs from Client Halak to Price, and now Ottawa switching to Leclaire. I’m glad we don’t have a “goalie controversy” on the Penguins. Flower has bad games, but the team’s confidence in him never seems to waiver.
Strange decision by Clouston...
Why make the goaltending change now? Elliot is the man who got you here in the first place and other than a horrible few minutes in the 2nd on Tuesday, he’s played pretty well this series for the most part. Leclaire hasn’t done anything this season.
I’m not surprised about Feds getting the start but I still think Godard should have got this one. The Sens are taking Cheechoo out of the lineup in favor Shean Donovan, who is uhhh not a scorer.
That's like a pumpkin pie right in the face!

I dunno. He’s made some good saves, but he’s been shaky a lot, too. And it seems like the Pens have ‘solved’ Elliot. Putting a different goalie in there, with different tendencies, might help the Sens a bit. Desperate times call for desperate measures …
Leafs fan living large in the Pitt and pretending like the drought is over. Go Pens!
Perhaps so, but I just don’t think I’d be so willing to abandon the man that got them there. For as much as you could say the Pens have figured out Elliot, I think a lot of that also has to do with the Pens figuring out how to beat the Sens defense. It’s not like Leclaire was a brick wall when he came in, he let in three goals in half a game.

Well, this is gonna be interesting. Like PopRocks, I believe the Pens “solved” Elliot + understand why Clouston would want to try something, anything, different. Remember how awesome Ryan Miller was for the Sabres and Team USA? Now remember the couple times this season that the Pens chased him out of the net, only to be frustrated by Lalime. Also, note how the Flyers seem fully capable of solving Brodeur in their playoffs, while the Pens haven’t once in regular season. What I’m saying is, I don’t think goalie changes are * just * about the goalie. It’s about the way he’s being defended; it’s about the way the opposing team has him figured out.
So let’s hope the Penguins can figure Leclaire out really quick! They seem to have gotten a real good start in Game 4.
I really hope that Fedotenko is motivated to prove himself, the way Rupp seemed to be after being benched for Game 1. Should there be a second series (I’m far too superstitious to say the Pens have this one locked up!), I also hope they don’t have to do it without Kennedy or Leopold.
