What a way to close out a series. Two games more than I'd like to see the Pens play in the first round, but what can you do? Ottawa put up one hell of a fight. Pascal Leclaire played out of his mind.
Lots of people picked the Pens to win. Even had a few correct calls on the score. OOter is the only one who picked Cooke for the first goal. But uh, he also picked the Sens winning.

It’s partly just visceral hatred …
But also, you might think of it this way: where the Flyers are fighters, the Sens are whiners. They whine about everything. In that “I’m telling on you!” and “It’s not fair!” sort of way. I’m surprised they didn’t call for a suspension at some point during the series. Because … I don’t know … “Crosby looked at me funny!” (or the infamous Brian Murray “Crosby swore at me during the game!” complaint).
They are, and likely always will be, worthy of our hatred.
