Spacek in for Gill, According to TSN
TSN says it looks like Spacek will be back, but Gill will most likely be out with a cut to the leg. Didn't see it posted on the main site, but I thought it was newsworthy. It'll be nice for Sid to be able to skate without Gill humping him up and down the ice.

looks like you beat me to it.
I’ll go ahead and delete my post.
This is huge for the Pens is Gill can’t go. No disrespect to Spacek.

Eh, I’m not sure it matters. The Canadiens have kept this a close series because of scheme, not personnel.
True, but Gill (besides Halak) has been their best player. If Crosby hadn’t had Gill to worry about for this entire series, I think it probably would’ve been over last night or after game 4.

1 team down, 3 to go.
Spacek played a great game against Ovie in the firs Caps-Habs game. However, one has to wonder if the long layoff will cause him to be out of game shape?

Hrm.
Probably not out of shape, but it might take him a couple shifts to find his edge.
"Defense! Defense! Common! Do you call that blowing!?"
I guess it depends on if he’s been skating at all…I haven’t heard anything either way (I haven’t really been looking either). It’s been what, 3 weeks since he’s played?

I’ll post an update on this after Montreal skates…Hal Gill had to stay an extra night in PA (didn’t travel with team) and then he had travel issues getting back, which is why someone had to replace him.
If I was a betting man I’d say Gill will play. Bu I guess we’ll have to wait and see

I feel sort of dirty stating it,
but I hope Hal doesn’t play. He is a great playoff asset.
