The Pens drafted the German version of Austin Lemieux :)
Editor of The Copper & Blue, and leader of The Cult Of Hartikainen.
Excellent team name, Cannibals, though I’d hate to see their mascot.
The Pens will be back.

And he didn’t impress in the U-18 tourny this year.
Hopefully he’s an impact player in the OHL and packs on a lot of muscle in the net few years and we’ll see if he can hack it…see what I did there?

Wasn’t he injured in the U 18 tourney? I read somewhere he had to pull out of the team.

Oh boy.
As a lover of all things German, I was pumped with this pick. I’m not sure he’ll ever play in the NHL, but I really hope he somehow morphs into an NHL-calibre player.
And if he turns into Marco Sturm? Jackpot.
(BTW, kudos on including the umlaut. It makes him seem more badass than just being lazy and adding an “e” after the “u”)

Good ol character map. Never fails me. But I failed to look into it again when I typed the body of the post, but whatever.
