Free Agency:  Centers

DETROIT - APRIL 20: Matthew Lombardi #15 of the Phoenix Coyotes tries to control the puck in front of Darren Helm #43 of the Detroit Red Wings during Game Four of the Western Conference Quarterfinals of the 2010 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on April 20, 2010 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Detroit won the game 3-0 to tie the series 2-2. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)

For your reference:  a list of available free agent centers...after the jump.  I (or someone with more access than me) will cross names off once they're gone.  Bit players left off the list for space considerations.

take a guess which list Penburgh-ers aren’t gonna be spending a lotta time on…

lol

I'm 21 now... I still feel 20 and I still feel way too old.

Just so I never have to answer this again. I'm from Singapore so whenever you see me online, I'm either sleep deprived or just waking up.

is Peter Mueller a free agent? I thought he was a RFA I never heard if Colorado tendered an offer or not. They had to keep him right? If hes available Id go after him immediately. Isnt he a RW anyway?

Good catch, he’s an RFA. TSN screwed that one up. I’ll take him off.

Oh, I don’t know, I’m sure Diomedes7 will be here to pimp Manny Mo to us a few more times before it’s too late.

The Pens will be back.

Haha.

Well, a lot of people have the Pens making a move for Lombardi, and he’s a center, so…………

Sounds pretty good for Vancouver.

He’ll slot in nicely behind Sedin and Kesler on their depth chart.

Little pricey for a 3rd liner, though.

by JustinM on Jul 1, 2010 1:52 PM EDT up reply actions

True.

But they only had eight forwards under contract, so they really needed to get somebody.

Ouch. That might make this even worse then, because …yeah, they still have holes to fill.
