Congratulations Captain Shea Weber

Defenseman Shea Weber has been named Captain of the Preds today, and while it's sad to know that he'll probably never play for the Penguins, many congrats are in order. He's one of my favorite players who is not a Penguin and he's been a cornerstone of my FH defense for several years now.

I honestly thought they might go with Suter when I saw Arnott left, because he’s more level-headed to say. But there’s no question Shea is the face of that franchise and I look for him to have a Norris-caliber season this year.

If you had nobody else who can score on a regular basis in the lineup, you’d want that guy as the captain too!

A great choice for the Preds and a fun hockey player to watch. Nice to see good things happen to (apparently) good people.
