Is Anyone Else Worried About Staal's recovery?
What's everyone's thoughts on what Staal will do this year?
Do you think it will change the breakout season he had last year?
Personally, I think he's only going to only get better and surpass Eric as the dominant Staal force to be reckoned with in the NHL.
I'm just being pessimistic based on all the talk of him joining Geno on the second line and the production it will bring.
Should we be worried about this injury?

I’m not at all worried about the injury. By all accounts it sounds like he’s well on his way to making a full recovery. As I see it, the only real problem is that with Staal not ready for the start of training camp, he and Malkin will have less time to get used to playing together again.
I don’t know if he’ll be better offensively than Eric. But, if the Staalkin project pans out, I can definitely see him matching Eric’s numbers, while being better defensively.
As for his league wide recognition, I think the days of Jordan Staal being underrated will be at an end.
