The great Mike Zigomanis
I love it.
how long have you been taking pictures, PAYD?
When will the season finally start, you ask? Well, here's your (new and improved) answer.
Oh, this one isn't mine
We have Pens photos going back to ‘06, and some Coyotes pictures from before that but they’re not digital, but I couldn’t find anything for #15 so I plucked this one off the interwebs (did the same thing for the earlier Kjell Samuelsson jersey at #23). I’m sure we have some Ziggy pics somewhere but our whole ‘08-09 regular season collection is currently missing. Too bad, we saw some good games that year. No worries. I’ve got 14 through 00 covered.

I’m glad I can help to further that special relationship between our two teams.

What is going on in that picture?! Fleury has his glove up, but his head is turned in a different direction and he’s sort of half up and half down. Zigomanis is facing his own net, and it looks like the other guy is about to chop his head off.
Weird!

Zigomanis is a great choice, btw. I’m a fan!

Yeah, I was bummed when he was injured in ’08-09. I think he could have really helped us, although I guess we did pretty well without him.

I had to bite back the urge to yell “Get back in your net!”

I can’t wait to see each one, especially for the numbers where there hasn’t been a regular Pen wearing them in a while…Those have been the most interesting and creative ones so far.

Love these! And I’m really glad you won’t be using pictures of Crosby or Malkin’s jerseys. I feel like singing Spongebob’s “I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m ready!”

why are you glad? I wanted to start at 87 next year for just that reason

Should be fun seeing Crosby and Malkin up there next off season, though! And it’ll be even more fun seeing PAYD standing on his head trying to fill the holes between 87, 71 and 58.
Well I’m sure I can think of some people for 66 and 68 :)

Not sure, but I do have a 67…
