Former Pen Ryan Whitney done for the season?
Just saw this:
The Edmonton Oilers should find out within the next 24 hours the status of defenceman Ryan Whitney, but they're not expecting him back any time soon.
Whitney, 27, will meet with a surgeon on Monday, with the possibility his season will be shut down because of a right ankle injury. The most optimistic scenario would see him return before the end of the regular season.
Was this the same ankle he was having problems with when he was with the Pens?

Saw that a couple of days ago
Dropped Whitney from my team in the Pensburgh fantasy league. Hope the surgery takes care of what ails him and he’s back at 100% for next season.
I'm expecting 100% improvement from the Lions this season.
That dude has had no luck with feet.

I dropped him from my team as well. He wasn’t having a half bad year either, even though his goal tallies remained low. He still had a decent presence on the team’s PP.
