This
Jordan Staal goal wasn't enough to lift Pittsburgh over Buffalo Saturday night, but once again the boys played a pretty solid game without their two biggest stars. Now, if only we could get those guys back...
More pics after the jump.

A rare
Steve MacIntyre sighting.
Ryan Miller didn't play. Still emo.
Anthems. Junior captain slipped but recovered nicely.
Pretty smart to have the stop sign on the back of your jersey if you're standing next to Cookie.
The Pens looked ready to go. They weren't.
Although they did put on some early pressure.
This glove smells.
Just not the same.
CFA knows this is a goal.
Buffalo thinks it's a goal.
Mere mortals have to go to the video review.
Goal.
Uh oh. Another
Sabres goal. 2-0.
Flower looking a little emo himself.
Speaking of Flower, he signed my MAFTRIX poster earlier that day. He got a pretty good laugh from it.
Nice battle between a couple of solid faceoff guys.
After digging themselves an early hole, the Pens starting getting it together.
Hard work paid off as
James Neal finally got the Pens on the board in the second.
It's early in the season, but Neal so far coming up with the best facial expressions on the team.
Despite the early goals, Fleury came up big several times to keep the Pens in this one.
Unfortunately, Enroth was also playing pretty well.
No. Just no.
Another faceoff. Cool to see how low these guys get.
Backbreaking goal by Buffalo in the third.
Who would get the Pens back in it? Would it be Real Deal Neal?
Maybe CFA?
It's Jordan Staaaaaaaaaaal!
I thought Staalsy was going to net the tying goal as well but couldn't quite get the handle on this one.
Somebody took the late timeout to settle things down.
No luck. Pens couldn't win a crucial late faceoff and the Sabres cleared it for the win.
