Just saw where it could be 4 – 6 weeks. I am hoping for 4 weeks but as long as he gets healthy I am happy. Hopefully the Pens continue their excellent play while being short handed with injuries.

Don’t despair. The Pens will continue to shine. Conquering adversity is what makes a champion.

yup
plus he needed the rest. We’ll be fine. Our team is going to be sick in December when everyone is healthy again…and I mean EVERYONE!
unless of course
people get injured in november (woops, did i just say that lol).

Eh.
And this is why you sign guys like Picard, and hold onto all three of Engelland, Niskanen, and Lovejoy. Depth is a true blessing in the NHL, and fortunately, we have enough to get by for now.

meh
all these penguins injuries are like traffic here in DC….it sucks, but after a while you just get used to it. Funny thing is, MacIntyre still won’t get any playing time, yet continue to eat up a roster spot
I won’t be surprised to see him against the Islanders though…

ahhh, touche
if I was more creative I would make a Boxing poster for “MacIntyre v Gillies: This time, its personal…kinda”
Lovejoy just breathed a sigh of relief

Really the only initial reaction I can garner. Sigh in frustration and lower my head to the desk. What are you going to do though?

I think that’s not necessary right now, as we have 6 healthy d-men and a day off between each of our next 3 games, all of which are relatively close to home(New York, Home and Toronto). Plenty of time/opportunity for a call up if needed at a later time. Plus, it looks like we finally get a break in the crowded schedule, with only 7 games in the next 21 days. Possibly might need to call someone up by next Thursday(Nov 3) as we are heading out west for games against the Sharks and Kings.
