The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Dustin Jeffrey from his conditioning assignment with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Jeffrey, 23, played two games for WBS last week, collecting one assist and three shots on goal.
From the Penguins. Sidney Crosby is out tonight, Jeffrey's return means 12 healthy forwards even without counting on Tyler Kennedy and Steve Sullivan (game time decisions).
