Staal, Crosby, Letang and Michalek will be out for tonight's game against the Islanders. Jason Williams gets the call to replace Staal, while Engelland, Despres and Picard will earn some playing time as well.

Hoping that this unreal injury streak ends, the last day of 2011. Bortuzzo’s hit was a cheap shot, by a known piece of sh&t (Rinaldo). Again no review, no suspension.

The only video I could find was blurry and slow, it looked borderline and I couldn’t really see if the elbow came up.

The real one I’m pissed about wasn’t even in the Penguins game. Read never got anything for boarding Nathan Gerbe from behind Wednesday night.

You are right about the hit on Gerbe. The Rinaldo hit was cheap, because he hit Bortuzzo late, after he had played the puck. It wasn’t an elbow , it was a late hit, that made Bortuzzo’s head hit the glass, ergo concussion.

Kuhnhackl is not only suspended but seems like his knee got messed up again

Bennett out for 6-8 weeks with wrist injury

Agostino out indefinitely with I think is a lower body injury.

Hanowski is next since he’s actually progressing this year….
