Chris Pronger's Season is Over
Another star player loses a season to a concussion. As much as I hate watching him play against the Pens, here's hoping the guy makes a full recovery and is back in 2012/13.

That’s super sad, man. The NHL needs to seriously sit down, examine this, and come up with a better solution than simply suspending players for blatant hits to the head.
This is seriously an epidemic in the league right now. Seriously.

What could the NHL have done to avoid this concussion?
Pronger got this concussion from an accidental high stick. It wasn’t an illegal blindside check. Unless they made players wear a full cage, there is nothing that the NHL could have done.
There's an 87% chance this post is sarcasm...
I am extremely surprised to see them announce that Pronger would be out for the rest of the season and playoffs. I am not sure how serious it must be for them to know that he will be out for that long.
I don’t like Pronger, but I certainly hope for this quick recovery as I don’t want to see any one go through this.
