The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Alexandre Picard from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero. Picard, 26, will be appearing in his third stint of the season with Pittsburgh. He has played in seven NHL games this season, going scoreless with a plus-5 rating while averaging 12:51 minutes per game. Picard has finished plus or even in six of his seven games.
