Agostino and Archibald Invited to Team USA Tryouts

Penguins Prospects Kenny Agostino and Josh Archibald have been invited to the Team USA World Junior Championship Tryouts. 30 players were invited to Team USA’s tryout camp which will take place December 17-23 in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. 22 of the 30 will make the tournament roster.

Agostino was drafted by the Penguins in the 4th Round of the 2010 Draft. In this August's USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp, Agostino was Team USA's leading scorer with 10 points in 6 games.

Archibald was drafted in the 6th Round of the 2011 Draft. Archibald was the Western Collegiate Hockey Association rookie of the week November 15 and was a finalist for Minnesota's Mr. Hockey as a High School Senior.

Also, four Pittsburgh-Area prospects have been invited. Blackhawks prospects Brandon Saad and Stephen Johns, Rangers prospect J.T. Miller, and Ducks prospect John Gibson.

Agostino is a sophmore at Yale and Archibald is a freshman at Nebraska-Omaha.
