By the way, and kind of random, but did anyone else notice by any chance how NHL.com is pretty much ignoring this entire game against the Islanders? Nothing on the home page, no mention of potential suspensions, whatever. I guess from a league standpoint the game did a good enough job of getting bad publicity on its own. No sense in matting it on the home page for everyone to see.

I also feel like the Pens website is burying the lead. The NYC pictures are cute and everything, but it’s strange that there are no comments from coaches or players in the Pens Report — about anything.
I believe in Geno.
I know, I’ve been looking everywhere for some info but am coming up with nothing. Well, best I found was that the three morons from NYI were having a face to face meeting with NHL execs tonight and that they were spending the day analyzing the footage…

I wonder if they had planned their practice in Central Park before Friday’s game. I assume they did (although … practice on the day between back-to-backs and an afternoon game is a bit … um … weird), but it sure came at a good time — both from the perspective of getting the team out with the fans and doing something fun, and from the perspective of having something to distract fans with.
My feet are wet.
