Crosby, Letestu Skate 45 Minutes
Penguins centers Sidney Crosby (concussion) and Mark Letestu (believed to be shoulder) came off the Consol Energy Center ice 45 minutes before the team's game-day skate. They worked out on the ice at least 45 minutes with conditioning coach Mike Kadar. For Crosby, that's an upgrade. When he first got back on the ice less than two weeks ago, he only went 15 minutes. He also, according to coach Dan Bylsma, is doing rigorous off-ice workouts. It's not known when he might be cleared for full practice with the rest of the club. Contact would be a major step. The Penguins' upcoming skate in advance of tonight's game against New Jersey is optional.
