Since the Pens ended their playoff hopes i looked for something to disctract me from their early playoff exit. My focus was watching soccer in Germany but then today the Hockey IIHF World Championship in Slovakia began. From a german point of view it is always like playing against the big guns and hoping not to loose to harsh.

But then the german team showed their heart again, something I like them very much for.

So Germany beats Russia 2:0 and wins against the Sbornaja for the first time since 1954. So i hope you will cheer with me a little bit because i watched all the Pens vs. Tampa games, but for me this is always quiting sleep because the games usually start at 1 am. This is my first post i start from the beginning, so if there is any mistake or if I am posting it at the wrong place, don't blame me for that. I like the Pensburgh site for giving me so much Insider news about the pens and giving me the feeling that I can be fan from Germany but not feeling so far away. I add a video so all of you can watch the most important scenes from the game.
