Oops, they did it again. Germany beats Slovakia 4:3

What an interesting game for Team Germany. They nearly blew a 4:0 lead but fought strong in the end to save 4:3 win against a long sleeping slovakian team.

Once again the germans had nothing to loose against a team with several NHL proven players. There were names around like Marian Hossa, Marian Gaboik, Jaroslav Halak and even Miroslav Satan.

The game started difficult for Germany because they had to overcome a 5:3 slovakian Powerplay. But after that they slowly but permanently outduelled the opponent and began to use their chances. The germans were strong in using their opportunities and so they got the 4:0 lead. In the third period, shortly after notching the fourth german goal, slovakia beats german goaltender Dimitri Pätzold for the first time. Now they felt their chances and started to ballte the germans hard, but in the end they did not even the game and so germany already has won the group. Last opponent is te team of slovenia who lost 4:6 to Russia and 1:3 against Slovakia.
