Unsigned Draft Picks Ekbom, Bathgate Released

Not overly surprised by the news of these two being released. But what about Alexander Pechurskiy - the third unsigned draft pick. I'm almost positive he has to be signed or released by Wednesday too. If the organization was going to release all three why wouldn't they announce all three at the same time? Or am I incorrect in that AP also needs a verdict by 6/1?
