Penguins Defenseman Brooks Orpik Undergoes Successful Lower Abdominal/Hernia Surgery
Accoring to http://penguins.nhl.com: "Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik underwent successful lower abdominal/hernia surgery on his right side today. Dr. Lawrence Biskin performed the surgery in Pittsburgh. Orpik’s rehab is expected to take six to eight weeks. Orpik, 30, underwent surgery in 2010 to repair a sports hernia on his left side." Perhaps one of the reasons the Penguins have recently signed so much defensive depth.
