Malkin Leading the Points Race
I'd just like to point out that Malkin is now tied for the league lead in points. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. For most of this season he has been the best player in the league, and if he hadn't missed so many games early in the season (Sedin has played 9 more), then he would be running away with it.

Also... Highlights
and man … how about Malkin’s last few goals?! He is making some amazing highlights this year. The second goal of that hat-trick against the lightning was ridiculous, and that goal against Cam Ward tonight was pretty amazing.
Of course, his goal against Ward from a few years back is still the best thing I have ever seen in sports…

Any time that is linked, I can’t help

(meant to cancel my comment, but slipped and posted it).
…but watch it 5 more times. I also can’t help but expect it to happen each time Malkin comes around the net against Ward every time we play the Canes.

I think having Letang back is going to boost his production too, hopefully on the PP.
I hope he runs away with it. I hope Neal regains his goal scoring prowess too and finishes with close to 50.
Reminds me of year Malkin won the scoring race with Crosby down with the ankle injury. Let’s hope it ends with a strong finish and Pens going back up the Standings… already went from 9th to 7th… hopefully it’s all up from here.
Hey All, new Pensburgh member here. I live in NJ and try to attend whenever the Pens come to the area..JACKED UP for tomorrow, Geno is playing unbelievable right now. I have seen a number of great pens-rangers games in the last few years at the Garden, fully expecting another!
