A little surpriseing but Letang will play in the All Stars game for Dustin Byfuglien. Still a crime no Neal

Definitely a shame that Neal isn’t there, but excited that Tanger got the nod!

Nick Johnson an all-star and not James Neal
Only thing that I can think about here is that they needed another rookie to fill in for the Ryan Nugent Hopkins injury

I think that Nick Johnson is in fact a rookie replacement.

That’s correct. But it’s also a totally warranted replacement choice, I think. His stats with the Wild aren’t outstanding or anything but he is making solid plays, and his ice time has trended upward through the season, to the 15-18 minute mark per game. I get the impression that he’s playing a lot more like a veteran than a rookie.
Which is really too bad, because it means he won’t go back on waivers any time soon, so Shero won’t be able to get him back.
Jagr? I don't even know 'er.
Eh, I’m not to worked up about the Neal thing. You, I, and every Caps fan know Neal is having a better year than OV. But I support the NHL trying to market themselves and grow the game, so ill deal with having the flashier guy there. We will show em in the playoffs when it counts.
