I think making a trade for a back-up is a bad idea. I think call up Thiessen for a few games now, see how he does. I think BJ just needs some confidence, but we seem to play like crap in front of him.

That would be the ideal, if possible. But you need a goalie to keep you in the game and Johnson’s been more shaky than steady this season.

I liked the idea of starting BJ today.
Against a last place team, should have a good chance to win, then the team didn’t show up in front of him. Even Malkin was back to his coasting ways at times today.

Munroe’s been pretty good, but I would rather see Thiessen to see if the Pens need to find a backup via UFA this summer or if he’s ready for NHL time. Munroe isn’t the answer.

Martin a -4 today....
If Shero can’t move this bum for a Round 7 pick or a dozen sticks, bench him. Lovejoy will not play any worse. Martin no longer has a desire to play in a Penguin sweater. When Niskenen is your #4 D’man, you have problems. C. Adams is shot. He brings nothing these days. And I don’t want to hear he’s a good penalty killer, you better be able to bring more than that these days if you expect your team to be a serious contender. Oh yea, Flyers making moves to strengthen their position, a NJ win today and they jump the Pens and have a game at hand also. Time to act Shero. Staal for Nash and a D’man sounding better and better. As for Johnson, he won’t be resigned, time to bring Theissen up. Or package him up for a backup goali. I could nit-pik on many other items but my frustration level after today’s game may get me into trouble. Good game yesterday, hardly, lucky the Flyers have Johnsons as goalies.
