Many things have gone wrong for the pens this Playoff season (actually since 2 weeks prior to the post-season); many players have been performing well under expectations, the organization has made some critical mistakes.. I wonder what happened to the solid defensive play that we the team used to be known for. Same coach/ systems, many of the same players.. Now their have been numerous defensive breakdowns, but what has gone wrong with MAF? Was it the collision with P. Martin preceding the playoffs? He has been over playing the puck, out of position and just mentally off his game... At any rate.. Not here to bash any player although I am disappointed. It was a great season, and hopefully Crosby, Staal and Malkin can get through game 4 without getting injured and we can start a good long healing process over the summer.. Fleury might have to undergo some shock therapy sessions, but I look forward to a rejuvenated, healthy focused group for the 2012-13 season. All we can hope for now is the team remains healthy and plays with dignity and some sense of pride.
