So, it's been reported that Derek Stepan is fine - outside of today's meaningless game, he won't miss a single shift. If Sidney Crosby had laid on the ice wrything in pain in a manner similar to the way Stepan did only to be declared healthy the next day, can you imagine what NY and Philly fans/media would be saying? Let that one sink in for a second.

The Pens lost Jordan Staal for 6 weeks due to a knee-on-knee from the Rangers at a time when the Pens were riddled with injuries earlier this year, yet you didn't hear a peep from the Pens fans or organIzation. It's not arrogance Torts - it's class - get some. The Pens keep on winning despite these injuries because they have a Jack Adams award winning coach who focuses on winning with what he has to work with as opposed to whining about arrogance and alleged injuries.

So, let me get this straight - Torts whines about the Penguins "whining" and dirty play despite the fact that the Penguins didn't whine about the Rangers taking Staal's leg out and the fact that Stepan's "injury" is really not an injury at all. Brooks Orpik does not get suspended - he doesn't even get a hearing. Then, Torts gets fined $20K for his rant.
