One hand it gets rid of Paul Martin but on the other you keep Staal in the East which could come back to haunt the Penguins in the playoffs year in and year out.
Sutter and Faulk are two young guns who have a lot of potential with little cap hits and an 8th overall gives the pens two First Round picks.
Frees up around 7 million in cap space for the year.
Sutter = 1.5 mil and could fill in a true third line center. Stats are meh but he isn't terrible. Faulk could play 7 or 8 D-man possibly alongside Engelland or Lovejoy. Could split the season with Depres.
Hate to see Staalsy go but if he is taking Minusman Paul Martin with him I could stomach it.
