Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Rangers (Open Thread)

So Tuesday was a rough game but what better way to wipe away the remnants of the game by playing a team we love to hate. Should be an interesting match-up and you can check out Hooks' pregame rundown here, but to summarize the major points:

Both teams have a 3-3-0 record.

The Rangers are without Ryan Callahan. Pens have placed Matt Niskanen on IR which made room for Shero to pick up Zach Boychuk off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes.

Robert Bortuzzo will see his first NHL ice of the season. Chris Kunitz is ill but will play.

Tomas Vokoun is in.

I wouldn't expect the same Rangers the Pens saw the first game of the season. Better hope the Islanders game is out of the system and not about to show its ugly face again.

Go Pens.
