Time to look at our system?

While I happened to think disco Dan has done a pretty good job as our coach, I think it's time he makes some changes to his system .

1st the penalty kill....... during the last two regular seasons our kill has Been awesome......while it sucked during the flyers series , the current adjustments have been terrible.....go back to pressuring the puck up the ice more. We have not had a shot on goal while being short handed let alone a goal.....he is over coaching

2nd use the d men more ....get them involved in the cycle, teams are taking away our forwards....and our 3rd and 4th line are non existent .....his system is not producing the shots on goal like it did a few years ago.....I think our d men stack up with any of the d men in the league, but his system doesn't allow for any creativity amongst our d.

3rd against the teams that trap us like the devils do.....not the trap Tampa uses ......we need to carry the puck less in the neutral zone and play a much closer gap on the back end. Dump that puck in and force them to make that 1st pass..... And keep our d closer to our forwards.....quit having them back up to our own blue line

4th stand up at both ends of the blue lines.....our d seems to playing to much defense when the puck is in the offensive zone and backing up way too much when the team rushes . Make them dump and chase ....our d is big enough to play along the boards they just are not physical enough

5th quit chasing around the others team cycle, either be more physical or out man them on the puck....the devils owned the puck in our end....with forwards that are rejects on most teams. The devils are far less talented then we are ......besides there top 5guys ( clarkson, henrique, Elias , kovie, zaljac) not one of their other players would be on our squad......
