According to @penguins, Pittsburgh has shipped Eric Tangradi out to Winnipeg for a 7th round draft pick.
My initial reaction is that it's another example of poor asset management. As we noted in a post a few weeks ago, power forward players are often late bloomers, so it may be a little early to write off Tangradi as a bust. But it looks as if that decision has been made by team brass.
My other reaction is that the return from the Jets is pretty pitiful. Unless the Trade Maestro plans to use that low pick as part of a package in a bigger deal, it kind of looks like the team just traded a (disappointing) fringe NHLer for nothing.
