The coaching staff and leadership needs to send the rest of the eastern conference a message. we have big MAC sitting their doing nothing? forget about winning these meaningless games and focus on sending the correct message to the devils clarkson, the flyers cloutier, and the rest of the league that wants to take a run at our stars. if that was the great one or number 66 in his hay day, someone would have paid the piper. these games are meaningless......it could be argued that the last 3 season's have been the best three season's since the early 90's when the pens were the best team in the league. forget about the regular season, learn to play a tougher brand of hockey and make the other teams accountable for questionable hits? we know malkin gets frustrated pretty easy.......a couple shifts with Big Mac on his wing will keep these goons from running around.......i don't want to hear he can't play the system......disco dan will be coaching in siberia if he doesn't start to protect his players more!

larque was brought in to protect and he did a great job at that.....let big MAC play a handful of games and watch how much more space our superstars get!
