UPDATE: Now, it is just down to Game 7 of the Redwings-Blackhawks series. No more playoffs for the month of May , but unbelievably two more rounds left in the NHL playoffs. Such great scheduling.
OK guys, let's just have one all encompassing game day thread for the remainder of the playoffs until Game 1 of the Pens-Bruins series.
First up - Chicago-Detroit Game 6. Can Detroit hold off Chicago somehow after they took a commanding 3-1 lead? Chicago still has to be favored in each game. Still Detroit is no slouch and has enough talent to eke out a win in the last 3 games. One down and two more to go in terms of Detroit getting that one win. Will they do what the Pens did in the TB series two years ago?
Thoughts on the Bruins - Pens matchup? I am guessing Game 1 will be on Thursday. How do we extrapolate what is going on in the Western Conf playoffs and do a comparison with potential Cup finals matchups? Just the eyetest? Examine how players traded from one conference to another at midseason have fared after the trades in the other conference? Just compare the play of Western Conf from last year to this year and see if there is any improvement?
