Sid's right hand man

Sid’s right hand man, no i'm not talking about Kunitz! I'm talking about his right winger. That’s a role the penguins have yet to fill, after losing Pascal Dupuis for the season due to injury. Sid is such a dynamic player; he can just make teams look foolish. That being said when you add in Kunitz to the matter, he is such a valuable part to the team, he adds speed, grittiness, and you can’t forget the scoring. With those two producing and being such a dynamic pair, why not try and make it a trio? That’s exactly what Ray Shero is doing; he has said that he doesn’t want a rental right winger for Sid. Shero saying that means he wants a player he can lock up long term, or at least a few years. Some players that in my opinion would be a good choice; Evander Kane of the Winnipeg Jets, Kane is only 22 years old, So if the penguins were to acquire him it would a great acquisition. Another candidate would be Blake wheeler of the jets also. Wheeler is right handed, now you’re probably wondering why I mentioned that, Crosby loves to play with a right handed right wing. I don’t know why but I think wheeler would be perfect for the spot, wheeler is 6’5, 205 he’s a big boy. If the Pens were to acquire him he would bring a physical presence also with a scoring touch. Now for the pens to acquire anyone for Sid they are going to have to give someone up, I believe that someone will be Simon Despres, Despres is currently playing in the AHL. Also some other players and or draft picks will most likely be used to acquire someone. I believe this is a must to find a right winger for Sid, because having Tanner Glass or Gibbons on that right wing spot isn’t going to do, especially for the Playoffs. As an avid Pens fan I really don’t want to see a collapse like we have all seen the past 2 or so seasons.
