Alright, Pens lovers(we only come in lover and jealous hatred categories), it's that time again. Time to start a new postseason run to get another crack at that sweet, sweet Cup.
This year starts with a very local, but unfamiliar foe. I admire Columbus in a lot of ways. For years, they were a laughingstock, and have finally started to live up to the billing of their great hockey city and fans. Yes, I'm shouting much love at you, Ohio! :) They've built well, invested well, traded well, and now, here we are.
This is going to be a hard-nosed series. They play hard, fast, disciplined. I expect a lot of close games, few whistles, and a lot of animosity(ain't the playoffs great?!). Still, Vegas has us the largest favorite of any team in the opening round. I see us bringing this to a stop in 6, with a few nailbiters here and there. Agree or disagree?
