Pens in the news!

There have been a couple of Pens related items at Hockey Prospectus I thought would be good to highlight to the Pensburgh crew.

First, there was an interesting article on the future of Bylsma.

Bylsma on the hot seat?

Ryan Wilson, who writes a lot about the Pens, discusses what may happen with Bylsma after the playoffs. I'll let you read the article, but it suggests that the Pens might make a change if things end with a nasty crash. I basically agree. Even if Bylsma is mostly blameless, I wonder if management might feel like they need to make a change for the sake of optics?

Another bit of Pens' content is a podcast discussing the series.

Penguins HP Podcast

I'm not a fan of Matthew Coller, but it's always interesting to hear an outsider's view of the series. I do enjoy reading Adam Gretz's work.

There was an article that popped up again in light of the fiasco in game 4. Here's the link:

Can you learn to be a winner?

MA Fleury's career playoff stats

Seems like 2008 was the outlier for a 29 year old goalie

The content expressed in fanposts does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the staff here at Pensburgh.com. FanPosts are opinions expressed by fans of various teams throughout the league but may be more Pittsburgh-centric for obvious reasons.
