GIF Highlights: Did Our Offense Really Get Silenced in Game 7?

Ever since we were eliminated by the Rangers this year, a popular talking point among fans and media alike has been the Penguins inability to generate offense when it matters most. While some fans blame a combination of puck luck, good goaltending, and flawed execution, others feel that something larger is amiss. Were we held to 1 goal due to a lack of proper scheming to create scoring chances, or did the players simply fail to execute despite having a sufficient amount of opportunities?

Below are the GIFs of every scoring chance that we had during game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Due to the fact that I made them with the highlights from NHL.com, opportunities that didn't register as shots on goal (ex. Neal losing his handle in front) are not included.

At this moment, I have not been able to get the gifs to play, so you can view each gif individually by clicking the link below it, or you can view the full album here in a new window.
