Crosby Centers Fifth Line

Sidney Crosby is centering a fifth line between wingers Arron Asham and Eric Godard at th Penguins' morning skate at the St. Pete Times Forum. He did not practice with the five-on-four power play but worked a spot down low with the second unit during a five-on-three drill. He's skating strong, just as he has been in on-ice workouts separate from the club. Perhaps someone upstairs has noticed the occasion; there is a tremendous thunderstorm raging outside the arena. The sound of thunder and of heavy rain is apparent, and the lights inside the arena have flickered a few times.
