Tales of the Tape: vs. New Jersey Devils 1/29/08
Sorry to get you excited, but no one dropped gloves last night in the Pens' win against the Devils (or, to my knowledge, anywhere in the NHL). So why bother with this? Because I found something to wonderful to pass up.
So while we may not be looking at the Pens pounding someone's face, enjoy instead the Pens pounding out wonderful line after wonderful line. (It has about 9 seconds of black, then starts.)
May want to stick to the ice there, guys.

This
really has been making its way around the net. Even collegehumor had it up on their site.
Talbot is the real actor here. You can't teach that sort of thing, it's pure instinct.
hahaha
Saw that a few times now on the net. The more i watch it, the more Talbot sounds like McLovin from Superbad. Kachigga jigga or whatever the hell it was he was saying. Malkin is just standing there....he gets no lines so this was obviously done before he did his English interview. I thought Sarge's daughter was teaching him English??....is she any good at English herself let alone good enough to teach a foreigner? Someone plz post his interview if u can find it cause i still haven't seen it. I missed it when they aired it at intermission of one the earlier Pens games.

hah McLovin
Good call. Someone on Collegehumor commented - "That last guy is such a bad actor, they don't even give him a line."
Oh the ignorance.
this is close enough
Here is when Geno brought the tickets to the front door. The 2 minute mark is hilarious to me. She says "This is wonderful" and he replies in broken, mumbly English "I know." I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing.
lol
That's awesome.......friggin hilarious. The 2nd house was the best when she says she likes the new jerseys and he's like "yeah...new" And every time he says "Pissbur Penwin Tickets" I'm still laughing.

I think
We'll make this a staple contribution. Collect a bunch of Geno clips where he's trying to speak English and analyze how much it improves over the next few years. I'll keep a document buried on the server here and let it keep resurfacing every time someone posts something new.
lol
that would be cool. I feel kinda bad for making fun of his accent but it's too damn funny. He should pick up on it quickly but if he lags a bit, i would be ok with that, because the chances of more clips like that coming up, would be greater.
