"Let's face it, you get rewarded for being the worst team in the league, so Pittsburgh has all these great players for being lousy for so many years," Snider said Monday during a rare locker-room visit. "That part I don't like so much.
"I've never been in favour of the draft the way it is."
Not really your typical comment from someone that's not an NHL-Pest... I just thought the comment was kind of funny and just goes to show the hatred between the Pens and Flyers.
Friday will not get here soon enough!

Pretty funny
Because if I remember correctly the Flyers were pretty horrible last year. And while they may not have had a Crosby in their draft, they still faired pretty well.
Plus, it already sounds like he's talking out of fear in the face of eminent loss already. At least the Rangers waited till AFTER Game 1.

You never hear a team complaining about the draft when they get a good pick. So go ahead and change it - then listen to the complaints that good teams get the good picks while the bad ones sink further into their proverbial sea of suck. What kind of a solution is that?
But that's a new one - if we lose, it's the NHL Draft's fault!
