Sergei Gonchar has signed a three-year deal with the Ottawa Senators worth $5.5 mill per year.

Shero talked to Hamhuis today about the kind of role he'd have on the Pens. Also, nothing has changed regarding to Gonch, they're still at deadlock in terms of the number of years.

Not much here, other than that they are actively trying to work on a deal to bring back Gonch.

Sergei's Gonchar's wife is set to give birth, so he's out of the lineup....Alex Goligoski has been recalled and is expected to take his place tonight for tonight's game against the Florida Panthers.
