Scouting the enemy: Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes are in the heart of a six-game road trip in which they're carrying a 1-0-1 record on their trip into Pittsburgh.

In the past, this matchup was all about the Staal brothers going up against one another, and the media may very well take that same approach again tonight.  Some things just never grow old.

The two goalie system is working for Carolina, as Michael Leighton is 2-0 following his win over the Ducks Sunday night.  Cam Ward is an even 1-1-1.  Hard to say which netminder gets the nod tonight.  Hopefully we'll know closer to game time.  As of right now the Hurricanes' site is saying Cam Ward "should be back in net tonight."

The long-lasting feud between Brooks Orpik and Erik Cole is no more.  Alas, Cole has moved on to the Edmonton Oilers.  Looks like we'll need a new feud tonight.
