Jonathan Bombulie from Penguins Insider says the Penguins have called up Janne Pesonen to join rank with Pitt for their game against the Blues tonight. The word is also up on the Pens' official site.
In nine games with WBS, Pesonen tagged two goals and added seven assists for a total of nine points. Both he and Chris Minard shared a line with the Baby Pens, although it's likely that won't be the case with the parent club tonight.
Although I've yet to read any official word on it, this should probably pose as evidence that Sidney Crosby is out of the lineup tonight. It's also likely that if Pascal Dupuis is healthy again that Chris Minard will be sent back down to make room for Janne.
