Your SPG leaderboard + shameless self promotion

Now that a solid month of hockey is behind us and the SPG pick 'em game is well underway, now would be a good time to check in on the leaderboard.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking.  "Wow, Frank is amazing."  That's true.  But you're also probably wondering if the first prize Penguins wall clock will go to me if I'm still in the lead by the All-Star break.

No, it will not.  As tempting as it is to want to award myself with the first place prize, I get enough satisfaction out of just playing.  I appreciate all of you for stopping in and reading, commenting and contributing to the site.  So you guys can fight for the prize.  Technically Bryan is your winner right now, if the contest were to end today.

Just a reminder, the SPG game is still brand new and you can jump into the action at anytime.  So if you're new to Pensburgh or SBN, then join up in the Shot-Penalty-Goal competition here and get into the running for a Penguins wall clock courtesy of Carrolls Cove.  In short, all you have to do is pick the first shot, penalty and goal of every period for each Penguins game between now and the All-Star break.  For each correct pick you receive a point.  The one with the most points by the break wins the clock.

In case you want to follow Pensburgh beyond the blog, the site is also available on your mobile phone.  Just go to mobile.pensburgh.com on your phone and join in during your commute to work, school or live from the game.

Pensburgh is now on Twitter.  I don't know why I hesitated to make a Twitter account for so long.  But I will admit, it is pretty addicting - especially when at work.

On a final note, for those of you who may frequent BallHype.com, Pensburgh is now a member of the site feed.  So if you see a Pensburgh post you want to hype up it would be greatly appreciated.  As always, keep an eye out for posts submitted to Yahoo Buzz or Digg.

Thanks for your time, contributions and readership.  It's much appreciated.
