Penguins vs Flyers Open Thread - For the Eastern Title

Pittsburgh Penguins (47-26-8) vs Philadelphia Flyers (41-29-11)

Watch on FSN/Center Ice or listen live at WXDX.com.

NOTES
This one is for Pitt's claim of the Eastern Title.  2 points in a win ties the Penguins with the Canadiens, but edges Pittsburgh out over Montreal because they will have earned one more win.  A Pittsburgh win also guarantees a Pitt/Philly first round playoff series.

Briere may sit this one out as Philly hopes to have him healthy again for the playoffs.  Briere suffered an injured knee in the last meeting between the two on Wednesday when Ruutu and Briere tapped knees again the boards.

Expect Hartnell to deliver some more cheap shots, Cote to fight Larauqe/Ruutu and one of the more  anticipated returns of the season; Gary Roberts.  Roberts hits the ice today in Philly since suffering a broken leg back in December against Buffalo.  His routine rehabilitation was stifled from time to time with minor setbacks and re-occurring pains.  Yet the hard-hitting veteran takes to the ice today to better prepare for the playoffs and potentially retire with another cup.
