Letter From Christy @ WIM

Hey, I can dish it and I can take it.  Christy from WIM has the platform to lay it on thick after a healthy 4-0 Game 1 victory.  You can read my humble response there.

Dear PensBurgh,

Ah, the taste of sweet victory. Well, the moment is over and now it's time to get ready for Game #2.

I saw Malone was properly introduced to WIM favorite, Niklas Kronwall, in the form of a crunching body hit. Expect more of those.

Pittsburgh saw a well-balanced attack that came from all sides. You had the impressive goaltending of Chris Osgood. If it weren't for him, the Penguins would've certainly had a lead in the first period and the outcome of the game may have been very different. You saw our secondary scoring, but this time from Mikael Samuelsson. Twice. You saw a goal from Henrik Zetterberg in the waning seconds of the game.

I know Pittsburgh can play better (as we saw in the first period), but can they maintain it all game against the Red Wings and their puck possession style? We will just have to wait and see until tomorrow evening.

Thanks for the space and go Wings!

Love,
Christy
