How did you celebrate your 22nd birthday? I highly doubt you were hoisting the Stanley Cup high over your head, organizing a street hockey game (with the Cup as a prize) and flying in to see friends and family back in Nova Scotia via helicopter.
When I turned 22 I was lucky if I got the clean glass in the bar. There was only one and it was often reserved for the birthday guy. Otherwise you just polished the rim with your shirt and wished for the best. Sid gets the Stanley Cup and likely won't slam his head on a Miller Lite neon sign at 2am when he stumbles out of the bar and onto the streets.
Game. Set. Match. Sid.
But hey, it's Friday. For the M-F, 9-5 workers reading Pensburgh daily this is your weekly birthday. So in honor of Sid's big day, I suggest you take up one of these drink recipes tonight (or on your lunch break wink wink), raise it high in the air and salute the 22-year-old captain.
Drinks after the jump.
