Pittsburgh Penguins tickets on sale Saturday at 10am

From the Pittsburgh Penguins official site:

Individual game tickets for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 2009-10 regular season will go on sale to the general public Saturday at 10 a.m.  An average of 1,500-2,000 tickets will be available for each home game.

The Penguins have sold out 118 straight games, including every game in each of the past two seasons.  The team cut off season ticket sales at 14,000 seats, and recently sold five-game mini-plans exclusively to members of the season ticket waiting list.

I'd suggest getting yourself situated by 9:30.  Make sure the Internet is up and running efficiently in your home/office.  Dial the number and hang up so you have it as your last call or program it into your phone.  Three years ago, when the Pens didn't win the Cup, I remember the home opener selling out in 10 minutes.  At the time I was working at a radio station holding down a news shift that required me to announce a report at the top of every hour.  Guess which hour was prerecorded.

So yes, preparation is everything.
